DNS dont work anymore

Good day,

We have a total of 250 Teltonika routers in use. For all routers we use the D-DNS service to let the router update the DNS name.

With some routers it often happens that this service suddenly stops. what could be the reason?

Hello,

Could you please clarify how many devices are experiencing this issue? It’s possible that your internet provider or carrier has implemented CGNAT (Carrier-Grade Network Address Translation) or made changes to its setup. The CGNAT address range typically falls between 100.64.0.0 to 100.127.255.255. If your device’s WAN IP address falls within this range, it’s likely that your provider is using CGNAT, which may cause issues with DDNS functionality. If this is the case, we recommend contacting your internet provider for further assistance.

Kind regards,

Marijus
