Hello @itsam ,
Indeed, if there are multiple different networks with same subnets, then DNAT will likely be more appropriate for this use case. This way, you will be able to have a logical distinction between identical networks.
The setup looks fine as long as it achieves your goals. If you will ever need to route between identical networks directly in other set-ups, I would suggest checking these forum posts here:
Hi all,
I have two routers RUT951 with the following configuration:

WAN Subnet: 255.255.255.0
WAN Gateway: 192.168.250.11
LAN IP: 192.168.1.254
LAN Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Router 2:
WAN IP: 192.168.250.11
WAN Subnet: 255.255.255.0
WAN Gateway: 192.168.250.10
LAN IP: 192.168.1.254
LAN Subnet: 255.255.255.0
NOTE: Both routers conected from WAN Side.
My question is, is there a way to NAT the entire networks like, I would see LAN Network R1 from outside …
Hello,
It is possible.
Performing NAT (specifically NETMAP) over a layer 3 VPN is usually not advisable, however, since RMS VPN currently offers only a layer 3 VPN, I will try to describe the process here.
For this, create an RMS hub and add your devices and users to the 'clients ’ tab. There, you should be able to set a static IP address for the devices as well. Here’s an example:
[RMS_CLIENTS]
Then, add routes via your desired networks via corresponding devices and a route to your client…
