I’m having trouble retrieving valid data from the meter via DLMS. I have successfully been able to communicate and extract DLMS data via MAP 110 on TCP/IP.
But when I try to retrieve it via the Teltonika Router DLMS Client, it gives me empty values and incorrect Date and time.
Thanks for reaching out! Could you please tell me what kind of connection there is between the Teltonika device and the DLMS meters? Are you using RS232, RS232 USB, RS485? What kind of Teltonika device do you have? (What’s the model of it?)
Connection flow:
Landis&Gyr Meter (E650) → Communication module (CU-XE) → TCP/IP ->Teltonika (RUT956) → Teltonika DLMS Client
I get communication to the meter via the Teltonika DLMS client because it can scan the OBIS objects - But the values that are retrieved are incorrect
The connection flow below - currently working:
Landis&Gyr Meter (E650) → Communication module (CU-XE) → TCP/IP ->Teltonika (RUT956) → MAP 110 + MAP120
I can get communication to the meter via the MAP 110 + MAP120 because it can scan the OBIS objects and display the correct values and I’m able to configure the Meter.
What data should be received/sent? Could you clarify the data format and provide a screenshot example if possible?
I’ve also sent you a form to fill out so we could continue our conversation in private, as I’ll need a troubleshooting file from our device to investigate the logs. In the ticket ID field simply enter 14281
I have managed to retrive data from the meter but now I receive this message and then the router stops to publish data to the Server from the DLMS client.

Hello, @VictordeBeer , according to the R&D, it is not related to memory. It is usually caused by a faulty serial cable or incorrect device configuration. They’ve suggested that you should double-check/reconnect the cable if a serial connection is used.
