Different SSID on router

Hi,

I have a fresh out the box router which has a SSID printed on the case. the SSID on the case says: RUT240_765C (and has a password printed).

However, when I power the router is only see SSID: RUT240_26F3, and I cannot access it with the printed WiFi password. I have tried resetting the router, but the SSID remains the same.

Feels like a provisioning issue, how can I resolve this and get access to the router?

Hello,

Could you please confirm whether you are able to access the WebUI
(QSG – RUT240 WebUI Access Guide) using the password printed on the back panel of the router? Or is that password also being reported as incorrect?

Best regards,

I can access the WebUI, but the password is also reported as incorrect.

Hello,

If I understand correctly, you are unable to log in to the WebUI because the password on the device’s back panel is incorrect, even after a factory reset. Is that right?

Additionally, please try to access the Bootloader menu and update the device firmware through it, as described here: RUT240 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki

If, even after using the bootloader menu, both the WebUI password and the SSID continue to show as incorrect, please contact your distributor for an RMA.

Best regards,
