Difference between 4-way power cable terminal/open wire

What is the difference between:

POWER CABLE WITH 4-WAY SCREW TERMINAL Order code: PR2FK20M

and

POWER CABLE WITH 4-WAY OPEN WIRE Order code: PR2PL15B

The open wire is only for TSW1X0?
The screw terminal ist “only” for RUTX09, but not for RUTX08?

Can we use the open wire also for the RUTX08?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting Teltonika Networks’ technical support team.

Both cables can be used to power Teltonika Networks’ devices which have a 4-pin power socket. The difference between PR2PL15B and PR2FK20M is the output connector they use.

PR2FK20M features a 4-pin connector with a 3mm pitch block, while PR2PL15B consists of simple cables without any extra connectors. Furthermore, both cables ensure the proper functioning of the digital input and output.

If we are talking about the differences in the wires themselves. Then PR2FK20M has 26 AWG gauge wires which have a total length of 2000 mm. While PR2PL15B has 20 AWG gauge wires which have a total length of 1500 mm.

The choice to use one cable or another depends on the use case and the installation you are planning to do.
