Dielectric Grease on SIM card

Hello,

the Quick Start Guide for RUTX50 recommends:

" Before installing the SIM cards, please apply a thin layer of dielectric grease to the SIM card contacts for devices used in environments with high-vibration levels. This will help avoid SIM cards losing touch with the SIM slot and prevent unexpected failures.".

Three questions regarding this recommendation:

(1) Can someone confirm that a layer of dielectric grease on the SIM card contact will not decrease connectivity between SIM card and the device?
(2) Instead of putting the dielectric grease on the SIM card contact, would putting dielectric grease on the back of the SIM card be a reasonable alternative, or does it make no sense?
(3) Can someone recommend dielectric grease? Is there anything to be aware of before purchase?

Best regards
S. Lei
