The latest RUTX firmware does not have a delete option for DHCP.
One has to CLI delete the DHCP Servers.
We have notices DHCP failures on devices which do NOT have the static [VLAN1] device present [disabled]
The DHCP for the additional VLANS many times does not work and the device has to be factory defaulted.
Same holds true for DHCP [for VLANs other than VLAN1] in general, make a few changes and it simply stops working, and again factory default.
So, the question is
Does one have to have the static DHCP server in the file [disabled] in order for DHCP to function on other VLANS as a general rule?
Will the delete DHCP be added back as most of our client users are NOT CLI enabled, and our NOC has to do it remotely.
Cheers
We have other observations, but not service affecting
