Recently new owner of a RUTC50 here, but struggling to have two bridges, with their own DHCP severs, on two different VLANs. I get things up and running, and then the RUTC50 stops handing out DHCP leases on the second bridge interface.
Why can I create multiple bridges each with (supposedly) their own DHCP daemon, only for it to not work?
For £600 worth of equipment, this is poor performance from Teltonika and something their developers should be finding a fix for yesterday.
Has anyone found a fix / know how to force the web GUI to differ from the backend?
Teltonika seems to have adopted Microsoft’s approach: a user-friendly frontend for beginners, with the intelligence handled by Teltonika’s architects. However, when the complexity exceeds the architect’s capabilities, the results are disappointing.
It’s almost amusing when Teltonika claims: Teltonika Networks’ brightest minds are behind the design of our connectivity products.
I hope these “brightest minds” will learn from this and focus on improving QA rather than getting distracted by trends like “wokeism”.
