Default admin password incorrect on RUTX11

I have a new RUTX11 router and am trying to access the webui. The default password printed on the label on the device is incorrect. I’ve tried multiple times to factory reset, and updated the firmware through the bootloader and still password is not working.

Device batch is 053 so based off what I’ve seen online the password should be the one written on the label

I can connect to wifi using the wifi password, but I am unable to manage the device at all

I checked the Mac Address and it matches that on the label. Is there any way I can get access to change the password without having to return the unit? I’m installing it in an office and I’m only here for a week to do so.

And when performing bootloader process you’re using version 07.06.10?

Do you have/use RMS by any chance so that your RUTX11 can connect to RMS after factory reset (using a SIM card with no PIN) and you can change the default password from there?

I installed the latest firmware through the bootloader.

I am unable to add it to my RMS account because the password is incorrect.

Okay, did you try to (on purpose) install an older firmware like 7.05.4 or so - and see if it then works?
Then change default password and upgrade to 07.06.10 again?

First, please double-check your password. Sometimes the letter ‘O’ can look like the number ‘0’. If you’re still having trouble, you can contact us directly through our website at using the “Contact Us” form, and we’ll do our best to assist you. Remember, we only store passwords for a limited time.
