Data disconnected

Hi!

I’ve put in a new SIM card in one of the slots of my rut955 but the data connection state keeps saying ‘diconnected’. It also struggles to find a network. Sometimes for a bit, but then keeps searching operator state without any luck.

The sim is working with data in my phone. I already rebooted the system.
What can I do to make it connect to the data of the sim?

To assist you effectively, could you please check or share the following details:

  • Does the SIM card require a PIN code? If so, please ensure it’s entered correctly under the Network → Mobile → General settings.
  • Is the correct APN being selected? Please try specifying the APN manually, as provided by your SIM’s network operator, under Network → WAN → mob1s1a1 settings.
  • Which SIM slot are you using? If you’ve placed it into the second SIM slot, make sure it’s selected as default under Network → Mobile → SIM2 tab.
  • Are both mobile antennas properly connected?
  • Do any mobile connection error messages appear in the WebUI?
    e.g., ESM reject, limited service, etc.
  • As a test, you can try setting the PDP type to IPv4 only under Network → WAN → mob1s1a1 and observe whether this improves connectivity.
  • If the issue persists, please try performing a manual network scan:
    Navigate to Network → Mobile → Network operators, set Connection mode to Manual, and press Scan for operators. Once the scan completes, check whether your desired operator appears in the list and attempt to connect manually.
