Creating Hotspot without any login page

hello,

i am trying to create a hotspot on rutc50 but i cant seem to do it without the splash/login page even if I set it up via mac auth it forces clients to login page to login button

is it possible to do it without any login/splash page

Can you in the first instance clarify, why you are looking to use hotspot without the landing page? As in itself, it is one of the security measures/purpose of hotspot, to limit what users can do.

When it comes to hotspot, by default, you cannot fully disable the landing page. In your case, I would recommend disabling hotspot, and using the router as a normal wifi access point, without portal login.

RUTC50 hotspot allows MAC authentication which can be set under the authentication mode, in hotspot settings. This is meant to allow automatic login for devices whose MAC addresses are registered, so they don’t need to enter credentials repeatedly.

However, the splash page is still triggered on client connection to show the login button or message before MAC authentication completes.
