I’m experiencing bad connections and frequent failed connections with my TRB500.
Firmware TRB500_R_00.07.08.2
My RMS one year subscription was activated only 21 days ago.
The Router keeps failing to connect to the internet.
Devices on the network time out then reconnect after a reboot of the TRB500.
I have checked the connection from the sim provider and no issues reported.
The signal strength is good to excellent.
I was receiving between 360mbs to 590mbs now I’m not getting near that.
Did you try a factory reset one more time?
Just finished running a factory reset and finally finished setting up the router again.
Still getting sporadic dropouts and timeouts.
Now though instead of getting 360mbs to 590mbs it’s now dropped to 197mbs.
Can you post a screenshot of
Status → Network → Mobile
What do the logs say?
Ok I will post it tomorrow if that’s ok.
Teltonika
The firmware version
TRB500_R_00.7.08.2
Restricts the bandwidth through the network.
I have just rolled back to
TRB500_R_00.7.07.3
And the restrictions have lifted.
Not sure which settings was changed in the newer firmware. But the bandwidth speed is no longer choked.
Received test of 445.68Mbs using 00.7.07.3
Compared to
Received test of 183.07Mbs using 00.7.08.2
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!
After the 07.08 firmware release along with the other improvements we added SA/NSA mode selection.
This means you will be able to choose the your desired mobile mode, standalone(5G only) or non-standalone(4G/5G frequencies).
You can find all the information regarding the firmware changes from here.
Please let me know if this helps!
Kind Regards,
Caner
