Hello,
I have an RUTX50 which has been working perfectly for the last 2 years however now I am having issues getting a connection from a SIM card. I have tried all troubleshooting options and now phoned the customer services but have no information from the mobile network at all.
Also states ‘no connected bands’ below
Have you just changed the SIM Card?
Can you post a screenshot of the following page hiding your IMSI Number:
Are you using the supplied antennas or your own?
I am using my own antennas but currently dont think that is a limiting factor
SIM card was changed, however I checked with a known good SIM card but still no joy.
How old is the known good sim?
When inserting the sim into the rut what flashing lights do you get on the device?
Have you tried both sim slots and made sure the correct sim has been selected as default and active:
Youre also on a very old firmware version, when back online i would make sure BOTH firmwares are updated asap.
Known good aim is approximately 2 months old but works perfectly fine in my phone.
Both SIM trays have been tried, with no success.
All I currently get is 3 flashing lights above the SIM tray slot 1.
What do your SIMS look like? Do you still have the last SIM that you know worked? Does it look different to the latest sims bought.
If you put a sim in tray two you need to make sure you set it up to use in Network > Mobile > General. Set tray two as default and then make it active.
Yes my SIM looks like that, and unfortunately I don’t have the old one.
I have set the SIM tray 2 to work and this is giving nothing too
Have a look at: RUTX50 LEDs - Teltonika Networks Wiki
I don’t think i can offer any further help, i’m sure others more knowledgeable will jump in shortly. Having another look at the new sims is the central contact plate larger in size, wider and the outer six plates smaller in size.
These two sims are from the same network operator one old (left) the other new (right). First older one (left) works in the RUT and a phone, the second (right) works in a phone but does not work in a RUT.
