Hello!
I’m seeking advice on configuring my Teltonika x11 router to connect via Wi-Fi to an existing network that uses the 192.168.1.0/24 IP range.
Current Setup:
- Teltonika Router: Configured with LAN IP 192.168.1.1/24.
- Main Network: Also operates on the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet, with its own DHCP server.
- Objective: Connect the Teltonika router to the main network via Wi-Fi, ensuring seamless communication between devices on both networks.
Challenges:
- Both networks share the same IP range, raising concerns about IP conflicts.
- I want to avoid reconfiguring the IP range of either network if possible.
Questions:
- Is it feasible to connect the Teltonika router to the main network via Wi-Fi under these conditions?
- What configurations are necessary to prevent IP conflicts and ensure proper routing?
- Are there best practices or recommended approaches for this scenario?
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
