- Whenever I try to connect to a local server or when others try to connect to mine,the connection keeps failing after 40 retries. The game is Left 4 Dead 2,but I face a similar issue with another game,called Empire Earth. What are the necessary settings I need to setup so I can connect without issues? I can connect to official and third party servers,only locals are having this issue.

What devices are you talking about any way?

I have rutx50 5g and i am connected with 5g vodafone sim with 5g signal
I play games online and while I can play on official servers, I can’t connect to local servers, nor can my friends connect to me if I play local servers.
some setting in the modem prevents the connection!
when I connect to the home modem, I have absolutely no problem with the connection, I can connect to all servers, regardless of the type of local server, 3rd party server, and the original valve server.

thanks for the info. To me this looks like an uPnP issue.
That’s a thing the RUTX50 doesn’t do out-of-the-box but
most home-modems do. That’s because the RUTX50 is
a business grade device.
