I have a new TRB500, when I first configured it I set a new password and I can login using the browser.
When I try to login with SSH using the same user and password as I use in the browser, I get “Permission denied, please try again.” and I see the lockout counter increasing.
I have not changed anything in the authorization configuration for SSH.
Is this normal and what do I need to change or do different to allow SSH?
try user : root instead of admin

Is this documented somewhere? I did not find it reading the manual.
That only works when you already know what is the problem!
I used the manual to arrive at this section TRB500 Remote Monitoring & Administration - Teltonika Networks Wiki where it explains that SSH can be used and that it can be enabled with TRB500 Administration - Teltonika Networks Wiki which I did not need to do because it was enabled by default.
There is no mention of username for SSH on these pages… so I assumed (I think reasonable) that it would be the same as for the WebUI.
