Cannot connect RUT200 to RMS

Hello all,

I have trouble getting a RUT200 listed in RMS. On the device admin page I can chose connect. It will try to connect and go to status Failure (Unexpected error) or Failure (Other error). In neither case I can see what the error actually is. From within RMS I can see the connection attempts:

Device has attempted to connect to the system. 2024-06-03 12:31:06

Under latest connection attempts, however the connection is never successful. I have verifief that serial number and MAC are correct.

It is also worthwhile to notice that the RUT200 does not seem to provide internet access over LAN. However it does over a wireless connection if I enable it. Maybe it is related?

Also I have a RUT240 in another device that works without problems.

Make sure your RUT200 is running on firmware 07.07.1.
If already - reset to factory defaults and it should work.
If not at 07.07.1 yet - perform an upgrade and DEselect “Keep Settings”.
(Attention: your current config will be lost - but intentionally).

Please attempt to unregister and register your RUT200 with RMS. If the device was previously added to RMS, you will need to enter a verification code from RMS into the device’s WebUI. Navigate to Services → Cloud Solutions → RMS → Authentication code (for firmware version RUT2M_R_00.07.07.1).

Thank you for your reply. I had updated the firmware, but with the mass firmware. Now with the correct one, still no luck

Where do I obtain the authentication code?

After entering the device’s IMEI, MAC address, and password, the authentication code will be displayed in a pop-up window:

Additionally, the code can be copied by clicking the ‘!’ button in ‘Management → Devices’ next to the device you are attempting to connect:
