Hello,
I recently bought a RUTX50 device for personal use to improve mobile signal in a rural area. However, I am unable to access the WebUI.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Connecting to http://192.168.1.1 → Login screen shows up
Using the default credentials (admin / password from the label)
Factory reset (short press 4s and long press 30s)
Bootloader mode (pressing RESET while powering on for 6s)
Tried various browsers and devices (mobile and PC)
Checked carefully if any characters on the password label were misprinted (0 vs O, etc.)
Despite all attempts, the router keeps showing “Invalid username and/or password”.
I also contacted Teltonika support but haven’t received a full resolution yet.
Is this a known issue?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
Mike

There’s been no indication within the community that this is a ‘known’ or ‘recurring’ issue.
Good afternoon,
I would recommend performing a bootloader reset, step by step with instructions. This unique feature allows you to perform firmware update and reflash the device, which can potentially resolve the issue. Instructions on how to do so : RUTX50 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki
Firmware : RUTX50 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki
After the reset, as username please try admin, and as password, the password on the back, or password admin01
Please also advise does the Lan light, next to the port light up, when you connect the router to pc? Try a different Lan cable.
Regards,
Arturas
Edit and addition:
Please take a look at this thread : Login WebUI error but ssh login OK - #9 by VincentBlic
As a similar issue to yours was resolved here.
