Cannot access RUTX50 after factory reset

Hello all
I have been trying once again to set up port forwarding for my pi website to load. Unfortunately, in changing a setting the router can no longer be accessed via 192.168.1.1
I have tried hard resetting it many times with the pin in the front hole, pressing it in for a variety of time lengths, all to no avail. I have also tried to set the static IP address to 192.168.1.2 but this does not work either.

Can anyone please advise me further?

Thanks

Hi Dave,

did you read https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX50_Device_Recovery_Options?
Did you try bootloader recovery, also described there?

Hi

I was just writing up a long thread as to all the things I’d tried, I did the bootloader again, I didn’t get to upload any new firmware (The RTX50 firmware download link is broken). However, it has sprung back into operation - yay!! I can now login to to the router.

If I could please ask, this seems to happen unintuitively as I was changing a setting on a raspberry pi IP address when all this happened. Could you please send a link to how to opne up the ports for a website without breaking everything.

Cheers
Dave
