[Bug Report] Firmware TRB501_R_00.07.22.1 - RSSI value "N/A" on 5G n78 band

Hi everyone,

I would like to report an issue I encountered after updating my TRB501 to the latest firmware TRB501_R_00.07.22.1.

I noticed a display bug in the Status > Network > Bands menu. Specifically, the RSSI value for the 5G band (5G n78) is displayed as “N/A”. With the previous firmware version, this data was displayed correctly.

Could you please look into this and fix it in an upcoming update?

Thanks in advance for the support!

I have exactly the same problem on my RUTX50 with 07.22.1

5G n78 RSSI N/A at 100MHz, not having an impact on performance though as far as i can assertain.

I think is a bug..

RUTX50 upgraded from 07.22.1 to 07.22.3 and the problem remains.

Greetings,

@akwe-xavante Could you please log in to the CLI following these instructions: Command Line Interfaces - Teltonika Networks Wiki

Then send me the output of the following commands:
gsmctl -G
and
api GET /modems/status
Please note that the output of the second command may contain sensitive information such as the IMEI, serial number, and similar details, so do not include that information in your reply here.

Best Regards,
Justinas

For the first time i’ve found that i can use the WEbUI CLI interface without getting a access denied message re security certificates, but i’ve failed to select, copy and paste in the various ways i do it. so i logged in using Putty and here is the result:

Greetings,

@dabrmar, could you please confirm whether you received my email sent on September 9th?

If you did, could you please reply to that email with the requested troubleshooting file? We need it to investigate why you are still seeing the RSSI value as N/A with the new firmware.

Best regards,
Justinas

Confirmed.

Diagnostic log sent to Teltonika.

Greetings,

Thank you for sending the troubleshoot file. I have forwarded it to our R&D department, and the fix for this issue is expected to be included in firmware version 07.26.

Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated release date for this firmware version yet.
