On a old RUT 950, with legacy firmware, I have update the firmware.
After that it didn’t come up and starting blinking all LAN lights at the same time. I suspect that the firmware update went wrong. So I tried to reset the RUT and set my local IP to 192.168.1.2.
I can reach the RUT but only on the firmware update and the u-boot update page.
I can upload the new firmware on 192.168.1.1/index.html, after some time it hangs.
On the u-boot page I can not upload the firmware. The RUT displays a red error message.
Can somebody send me the files for the u-boot update?
Multiple factory resets haven’t changed the behavior.
I’ve sent the request to R&D to consult regarding your situation, and whether a uboot upgrade will help at all.
Regarding the LEDs blinking, are they flashing rapidly as if the device was in the bootloader state? What firmware are you trying to upgrade to? What is the product code of your RUT950? (this can be found on the box)
I’ve been informed that for legacy devices (such as the RUT950), bootloader upgrades are not provided. I was also informed that for cases such as these, bootloader upgrades will not really help with your issue.
Do you perhaps remember what firmware version the upgrade was performed from & what version you upgraded to? What power supply are you using for your device? What antennas are used with the device, and how are they mounted?
