Hi,
We’re operating a fleet of 50+ Teltonika routers (mix of RUTM51 and similar) deployed across multiple client sites in France. Clients are managed either via RMS or locally depending on the setup.
Our main recurring issue is internet disconnection events - sometimes the router reconnects on its own, sometimes it doesn’t, and we only find out when the client calls.
A few questions for those managing similar fleets :
-
What’s your preferred setup for proactive disconnection alerting in RMS ? We’re currently using basic ping monitoring but missing some events.
-
For sites not on RMS, what lightweight method do you use to detect and alert on WAN drops ?
-
Do you have a reliable way to distinguish a real disconnection from a false positive (router reboot, SIM switch, etc.) ?
Happy to share our current config if it helps. Looking for people who’ve solved this at scale.
Thanks
