Batch config Wi-Fi for routers

Hi!

Let’s assume I have 10 Teltonika RUT routers. (RUTM51 in this instance.)

Can I centrally manage/automate their Wi-Fi radio/Wi-Fi SSID settings, via RMS or else?

I would like to globally set bandwidth and other settings for 2.4 and 5GHz radios, and set a unique SSID with a scheme like [Company Name] [Sequential Number] (from 01 to 10) or like [Company Name] [4 last chars of the MAC address], with the same security settings for every router (for example WPA2/WPA3 and same key).

Can I achieve that?

Bonus point if these settings can be automatically restored via the reset button.

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

You can update the configuration of multiple routers simultaneously through the RMS Device Configuration page.
For more information, please refer to our wiki page: RMS Device Configuration.

If you have any further questions about this feature, feel free to let me know.

Best regards,

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

But is there a way to set a different SSID for each device, with some sort of variable?

Hello,

Currently, it is only possible to update the same configuration for multiple devices simultaneously using the Device Configuration feature in RMS.

Additionally, for automation, you can use the RMS Task Manager: RMS Task Manager Guide. Alternatively, you can save a device backup: Configuration Backup Guide and upload it to other devices, provided they are the same model and have the same product code.

Best regards,
