The 4 pin to 4 pin power cable (PR2PP10B) connecting the BAT120 (Batch 040) to the TRB500 (Batch no: 002) does not fit or align correctly with the TRB500. The cable fails to lock in with the characteristic “click,” making it easy to disconnect from the device with minimal force. This appears to be due to the outer protective casing preventing the connector from fully engaging.
This seems to be a problem with the cable itself as both the power supply of the TRB500 and BAT120 works without problem. You can clearly see on the difference of the cables where the power supply cables have an extra 5 mm space before the outer casing takes place. Is this a design flaw/feature? Or is my unit not compatible with the cable itself?
Apologies for the delayed response, and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
The issue with the 4-pin to 4-pin power cable connector has been previously identified and is primarily due to a defective third-party manufactured connector. This issue is not related to your TRB500 unit itself but rather to the manufacturer’s cable design.
