I’m having the same problem as this person here that didn’t seem to get an answer:

The RUT240 router sends data as plain text due to its inability to predict the incoming data type, providing it the flexibility to handle a variety of data formats. This method, while versatile, means that escape characters such as newline characters (\r\n) and backslashes (\) from the original data will be transmitted as-is, potentially leading to the issues you’re experiencing now.

There is no way to change the data type or encoding. There will be some changes to the data sender service in the upcoming firmware versions, however, I am not sure if these updates will bring any changes in regard to this aspect.
