It would also be very helpful if you could provide a simple diagram with a short description of your intended setup so we can better understand your configuration. We are not very familiar with the SiDirect tool and AVEVA SCADA systems, so this additional context would be valuable.
It might also be worth checking similar setups, such as the one described in the thread linked below, as it might offer some useful suggestions or help clarify whether you’re trying to achieve something generally similar.
Regarding the communication between the RUT955 and the PLC via Ethernet, you simply need to ensure that the PLC is configured to use the RUT955 LAN IP as its default gateway, that the subnet mask is correct, and that the PLC and router are within the same subnet.
Could you also clarify what data you would like to collect from the PLC and how it should be processed or sent?
