Hello,
Thank you for reaching out!
Could you provide your carrier MNC, MCC and the correct APN value?
I will check whether this APN is present in our database, and if not, I’ll make a request to our developers to add it.
Best regards,
The APN is data.apn.name and because It is an eSIM that can connect to multiple carriers, MNC, MCC should be selected automatically based on availability.
Hello,
The SIM card operator should still have their own MNC and MCC values, even if the SIM card is roaming on other networks with different MNC+MCC values. These values are used to determine the correct APN for your carrier.
Best regards,
Hello, I will ask my operator. But it is my understanding that my eSIM can connect to different operators based on best signal quality. For example when in Belgium the RUTX11 will connect to
MCC/MNC 206/01, 206/10 and 206/20
I could confirm this from the viewing mobile status page in the RUTX11.
I did not find a way to check what APN the RUTX11 is choosing, can I verify this somewhere?
Hello,
You can check what APN the router is choosing only by looking at the logs of the device. This can be done by logging into the CLI or SSH, and running the command logread
.
If the APN database does contain the APN for your operator, it will first try applying it. If that does not work, it will go through common APNs like internet
, wap
, <blank>
, etc. If APN for your carrier is not added, it will go straight to the common ones and try them one by one.
When the device is registered on home network, the first 5/6 numbers of IMSI will be MCC+MNC combination:
