We have recently purchased an M2M SIM from Airtel India and inserted it into our Teltonika device. The SIM card status indicates “UP,” confirming that the connection is established. However, we are unable to access the internet using this SIM.
Details of the Issue:
- The SIM connection status is “UP.”
- Internet access is not working despite the connection status being active.
- The APN settings for the Airtel M2M SIM have been configured as provided by the operator.
Steps Taken:
- Verified and re-entered the APN details.
- Restarted the device after inserting the SIM.
- Checked for any firmware updates on the Teltonika device.
- Tested the SIM in another device, where it worked for internet access.
