Any Teltonika product similar to TRB141 + Wifi?

Title says it all – thanks! – I’m looking to incorporate several 4-20mA sensors & relays into my home automation and looking for a wifi sending unit w/ multiple I/O. Love Teltonika products, TRB141 comes close but I need wifi. Any ideas?

Maybe RUT956?

OK thanks – RUT956 has one relay and one A input – apart from the price that might work, with some fudging.

The TRB141 is almost perfect – I have a water tank so need one 4-20mA sensor for water tank depth measurement, two dry contact inputs to handle simple tank full / empty float switches, then a few different relays to automate ground pressure / irrigation pumps, pool refill pump and the borehole pump itself (3~4 relays).

Perhaps I just need to find a cheap way to get the TRB141 onto the wifi network, but if anyone from the product department (@Daumantas yo!) is reading this forum, then a wifi enabled TRB141 / multi GPIO would be a godsend for the off-grid / home automation crowd. There are some industrial solutions but they are often 3~4x the price of the TRB series.

Cheers, Dan

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

None of the current products from the TRB product line have the hardware to support any kind of Wi-fi connection. All devices are designed to provide internet connection via cellular data or ethernet cable. Current antennas are dedicated only to the cellular data connection and are not compatible with Wi-fi.

As user hrtx mentioned, currently only RUT956 would have multi I/O and Wi-fi connection available.

However, none of the current TRB devices meet these criteria yet. In the future, a similar product might be released, however there are no plans at the moment.

Kind regards,
Arnoldas

OK @Arnoldas thanks for the official reply!

There is a niche in the home / prosumer automation market for wifi enabled multi GPIO devices (specifically with 4-20mA sensors inputs, DIO and relay outputs a la TRB141).

I found brands like YottaControl, Advantech, Shelly, Ebyte and various random boxes on Aliexpress which might do the job, but nothing with the form factor / RutOS / price point of Teltonika.

Shelly Uni Plus is probably the best option for people who want solid hardware & software but don’t want to muck around making their own DIY ESP32 / Arduino etc. etc.but that still requires soldering resistors in to convert 4-20mA to 0-10V, but anyway

Cheers again! Dan
