We were facing the following issue:
We uploaded a configuration file from an RUTX09-router (device 01) to another (blank, rest to factory default) RUTX09-router (device 02).
After uploading the config-file we found that on the device 02 all LAN-ports are missing!!
Here are the details:
Device 01:
Product code: RUTX0900XXXX
Bootloader version: 2.27.0
Serial number: 1117340707
Hardware revision: 0808
Batch number: 0028
Branch: -
Firmware version: RUTX_R_00.07.25.3
Kernel version: 6.6.137
The device 01 does have one VLAN ID 3 for LAN 2 and 3 (untagged) configured.
TAG 3, Type 802.1AD Interface eth0.3
Device 02:
Product code: RUTX0900XXXX
Bootloader version: 2.27.0
Serial number: 1118902881
Hardware revision: 0808
Batch number: 0030
Branch: -
Firmware version: RUTX_R_00.07.25.3
Kernel version: 6.6.137
We are now quite concerned, because this issue prevents us to replace our RUTX09-routers (around 50) without being able to upload a config file in a case of a hardware defect (caused by overvoltage, lightning strike or whatever)!
The described issue did also occur when both routers where on firmware version 7.24.3.
