5g Sim Static IP and Port Forwarding

I use the Teltonika to stream sports broadcast via SRT.

I connect to the internet via a Telstra 5G sim card in the Teltonia RUTX50.

PC connects to the Teltonika RUTX50 via an ethernet cable.

I need to port forward from the Teltonika Router to the Computer so that Fox Sports can access my PC and vmix and pick up my stream.

There has been some suggestion that I need a Static IP address but i dont know if this is set up on the Sim card through Telstra, or on the router via the router settings. I will need to provide this IP address to my client so that he can access my stream.

Could anyone provide any insights or advise please.

I believe this breaks your FSIM License Agreement, and SRT’s Terms of Service as well; so therefore would NOT be legally possible.

How do I set up an SRT feed to my client with the RUTX50 router? are you saying its not possible to open a port so they can access my PC?

My apologies, I assumed you were referring to SRT a streaming / network provider in North Dakota , who streams Fox Sports and not the SRT protocol.

Although I have no personal experience with streaming using SRT, I don’t see why this would not be possible over a VPN connection or outside of a VPN. The ports would be dictated by you or whatever application you are using to send the stream. Wireguard is a nice compact and efficient VPN with a small overhead.

Hopefully someone here has some insight to your particular use case.

If you look at the manual for your device on the Wiki, you’ll see how to Port Forward.

I used to stream to my client with a custom RTMP. They have changed protocols and now are asking me to send an SRT (listener) stream that they can connect to (as Caller)
I just need to open the port on my router so they can access my pc.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Is it clever to allow anybody to be connecting to and accessing your PC? Static IP has all to do with your ISP and not Telstra directly (as such), there is also the capability of a public facing IP, DDNS and port forwarding but these days that requires an ABN
