Is there graph available for PR1KC647 gains on different bands?
Does this antenna require metal ground plane or can it be installed on top of plastic cabinet?

Hello,
Not entirely sure if I understood the question, but what kind of gains are you referring to exactly? We don’t really have any graphs available for such a thing, as the way it works is that when a device connects to certain band(-s), it will receive different signal strengths or speeds depending on the quality of the band. It is quite well explained under the Band Lock wiki here: Band Lock - Teltonika Networks Wiki
Doesn’t matter, you can install it however you want, no actual requirements are listed under the product page either.

@Matas Hi M, I believe that @nodesolutions is requesting:
a) Radiation patterns (example below) - these patterns are normally standard documentation and are produced covering several bands, to address your comment of “… it will receive different signal strengths or speeds depending on the quality of the band”. If Teltonika don’t have these, then the manufacturer you use, should have.
b) The second question is asking … Is the antenna designed to be ground plane independent?
Regards … Mike
Hey, Mike,
Thank you very much for helping me understand the questions.
Regarding question No.1 - You’ll have to reach out to the distributor from whom you’ve purchased the device and ask them to reach out to us for the documents. Some additional documents need to be signed for us to be able to share this.
Regarding question No.2 - I’ll have to create a request for our R&D team to ask about this, will get back to you as soon as I have an answer.
Regards,
M.
Hi, @nodesolutions ,
Here’s an answer in regards to the ground plane:
A ground plane is recommended for this antenna, although it’s not strictly mandatory. The antenna will function with or without it. However, the radiation pattern and overall performance may vary depending on whether a ground plane is used. Including a ground plane typically results in more predictable and optimal radiation characteristics.

M.
