A client with a long reefer is requesting temperature control and CAN bus data from the tractor unit.
Based on experience, wireless tags will not work reliably when the tracker is installed in the cabin and the tags are placed in the refrigerated compartment more than 5 meters away .
Of course, one option is to use two trackers and register them as two separate object in the telematics platform — but is there any scenario where two trackers can work together , so that one acts as a repeater for the temperature sensors and forwards data to the main tracker in the cabin , which then sends it to the telematics server ?
Is such a setup possible?
