Unstable connection with power meter

I have recently noticed my TeltoCharge charging station throws warnings about lost connection with power meter. This happens about once per minute.

I have reason to suspect latest firmware upgrade causing that as I never saw such warning on old firmware and there were no physical changes to infrastructure.

So I’m wondering if it is possible/allowed/safe to downgrade from 1.14.7 to 1.13.9 to check if that helps? Just want to be sure it won’t brick the device.

Hi,
downgrading is not possible, ideally everything should work as it is - we need more information on whats installed, what kind of meter and so on. Best option would be to send us a troubleshoot file at support.energy@teltonika.lt.

Thanks for reply. Done that with all collected information.

I have got kind of response from Teltonika (I had to ask my installer to kick Teltonika for that, so answer came indirect). I was suggested to increase “current update interval” from default 5s to something higher. Unfortunately that did not help at all.

But I wonder what actually that interval stands for. Cause if I look at oscillograms of communication signals I can clearly see charger is requesting information from meter approximately every 0.5 second. Can it be that something is broken in latest firmware and “currnet update interval” setting is not honored?
