Hi.
I would like to create geofence to turn on and off cellular and bluetooth on a FMM920.
Is that possible? Is there other trackers that supports this? Any other ideas?
Best regards

Hello Auggie,
Good day! It is possible but you need to automate it with the help of your server end/SMS platform.
Our devices “FMM920” is capable of sending records when it enters/exits with a specific Geofence. For more information you may refer on this link: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMM920_Teltonika_Data_Sending_Parameters_ID#Eventual_I.2FO_elements
Once the records was received, then you need to actuate the use case you want to implement through server end. To enable/disable Bluetooth features of the device you may use the setparam command to enable/disable the Parameter ID 800 or Cellular communication through the SMS platform. Kindly check the links below for implementing commands.
FMM920 SMS/GPRS command: FMB SMS/GPRS Commands - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS
FMM920 Parameter List: FMM920 Parameter list - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS
I hope this helps.

Hi Patrick.
Thank you for the response. I think it could be helpful. At least for turning off cellular/Bluetooth by automateing trough sms/server. But since the remote access will be turned off how can I turn it on again?
Is there a way to automate locally on the device?
For example have cellular/Bluetooth off a ones the device exits a geofence have it turned on again
Kind regards
Auggie
Hello Auggie,
Automating locally on the device is not possible, so I suggested you options mentioned above.
It is possible to disable/enable the Bluetooth of the device through SMS/Server commands. However, cellular communication might not be possible as you need to receive a notification again once the device exits the Geofence.
Regards,
Patrick S.
