We operate 10,000 vehicles equipped with Teltonika FMC880 devices and intend to migrate to a different telematics platform without physically removing or replacing the trackers. Can the new platform configure the existing FMC880 devices remotely so they communicate with the new system?
Maybe you can use the FOTA Teltonika platform to change the configuration to include a second server. If all the trackers have the same configuration, you can make this update using a bulk operation. Use the backup server mode as “duplicate”. After updates, you will configure the new telematics platform. When the configuration is done, you can update the configuration to remove your old server.
