If I were to purchase a Teltonika tracker new or used from either Amazon or eBay would Teltonika provide any support if an unlock code was required, if the seller was not one of your distributors and the original distributor was unknown to me?

The unlocked code will only be provided through our partners/distributors but in case you have the receipts from them you can try to contact us through our website and provide all the necessary information.

https://teltonika-gps.com/ and click on the “Contact Us” button. When you will click, please fill the form and submit it.

  1. From where you purchased.
  2. From what region.
  3. Provide the receipt from our partner.
  4. Provide the device IMEI and the Locked code.

The reason why the unlocked code is not provided to everyone is to prevent unauthorized use of it in case of thief/hacking etc.

Totally understand about the stealing/hacking, but if the seller is not one of your partners or distributors then if an unlock code were needed it wouldn’t be provided unless Teltonika would accept a Amazon or eBay receipt.
