TMT250: Failed to save configuration: SETPARAM_RESULT does not match

Tried to save new configuration for tmt250, but it gives an error: “Failed to save configuration: SETPARAM_RESULT does not match”.
Checked that I have latest configurator and firmaware. Any ideas how to solve?

Hello @opentika,

Welcome to Teltonika Community Forum! :slight_smile:

Normally, such error occurs when you have loaded a Configuration File that is not suitable for TMT250 device. You may try to Create a New Configuration File, select TMT250 then save it as a new Configuration File then load it on the device so that the File is suitable to TMT250 device.

Hi Patrick,
I downloaded the tmt250 conf from GitHub - routechoices/trackers-config
Loaded from file, and tried to save to device.
Now also tried Loaded from file, saved to file, loaded from file, and tried to save to device. No luck.

Hi everyone,

I have the same issue with the same device with the latest firmware and confiugrator version.

As suggested in another discussion, here on the Teltonika Community, I tried to load a new blank configuration and then apply the parameters I want on the device but anything has changed.

Do you have any other advice?

However, if you claim there were still issues experienced issues it would be helpful if you can coordinate your Sales Manager or create a HD ticket so we can further investigate on it.

I’ve had no problem at all loading that Routechoices file with latest firmware and configurator.

Maybe the device does not function correctly - settings are saved, and when read from the device, they are ok. However, after off-on, the domain and port disappeared.

Have you tried putting the domain and port in the backup server? I’m just curious if that one will stay. Do your other settings disappear too?

Also port for Routechoices is now 5027 for Teltonika devices (not 2000)

Yes, and I have the new port number as well.

It seems that I can successfully save any other settings except routechoices. And, they remain off-in cycle, and override routechoises settings when booting.

Ok. I started from scratch. Had snapshots of all routechoices settings and entered the values by hand. That works - hopefully, I remembered to save the setting to my computer as well :slight_smile:
