TMT250 constant logging

Hi, I’d like to track slow-mowing objects over a long time (24-48h) with TMT250.

I need the position fixed at a constant interval (15 minutes) and uploaded to the server at a 30-minute interval nonstop until the battery runs out.

No other function is needed.

It works when stationary, but motion breaks the interval and triggers logging events with irregular intervals.

Any ideas for settings?

Thanks

Dear @KarlS,

I hope you are doing well. Triggers for the logging events of the device are related to the Data Acquisition settings set on the device.

In this case, there are multiple factors when the device could take a record such as Min Period, Distance, Angle, and Speed Delta. If you wish the device to be controlled by the Period/interval of your choice then you need to set other Parameters to 0.

For more information, you may refer to this link: TMT250 Data acquisition settings - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Patrick S.

It is clear that device is not keeping the 30min interval… something triggers the logging when in motion

Hello @KarlS,

On the device logs there is an IO that specifies Event ID, suggesting you to check on which parameter ID is triggering the record so that you may adjust it on the Configuration.

Complete list of AVL parameter IDs are on this link: TMT250 AVL ID List - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Patrick
