Testing String for DTC Errors

Hi everyone,

can you send me a Codec8e ByteString with DTC Errors (AVL ID 30 and 160) for testing?

Best regards

Tobias

Hello,

Good day, Sorry I cannot provide you the byte string itself instead you can capture raw data from the device with AVLID 30 and 160 using the steps below:

AVL 30 is for the OBD device or OBD dongle
FMC130 Teltonika Data Sending Parameters ID - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS (teltonika-gps.com)

AVL 160 is for the CAN adapter ( LVCAN200 +DTC or CAN -CONTROL + DTC )
FMC130 Teltonika Data Sending Parameters ID - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS (teltonika-gps.com)

For testing

Steps

  1. Use a vehicle in our supported vehicle list
    CAN CONTROL + DTC: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/images/a/a7/CANCONTROL_DTC_list_2023_08_29_en.xlsx
    LVCAN200 + DTC: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/images/9/99/LVCAN200_DTC_list_2023_08_29_en.xlsx
  2. Connect the device according the the schematic diagram from Teltonika or if you are using an OBD device connect the it to OBD port of the vehicle.
  3. Ask a Car technician to create fault codes.
  4. Check if the fault codes appear in the configurator, please make sure that the codec8e is enabled
  5. Check in your server if you were able to receive the AVL ID that you need.
  6. For the schematic diagram or assistance for testing you can contact your sales manager so that he can a remote session for you.
