Teltonika Connectivity Solution SIM cards are Deactivated

So here we go, initial post to the community. Planned to move to Teltonika Connectivity Solution SIMs, not great experience so far.

Have a pile of SIMs on the table, just no connectivity. The configurator shows “Modem On”, SIM Status “Ready” GPRS Status “Deactivated” Actual operator code shows up and Signal Level “Good Signal”. As I was testing the new kit at the evening time, I was kind of alone with this. So decided to risk it and try to activate one of the SIMs on the truphone portal just in case that might have been it. Well it’s been on “PENDING” activation status for about 3 days now, not showing up on the sims list. I’ve tried Auto APN and every truphone and 1global APN setting internet searches has surfaced as well as trying to get the device sending SMS.

My Sales Manager is on holidays, as are the three people in chain from autoreplies, 4th has not responded. No-one has responded to the web form filled on Contact Us page. The Teltonika Telematics phone number is redirected to mobile that is not reachable, the nice lady who answered the HQ phone couldn’t help part for pointing out to the Telematics number which is disconnected and info email, no response to that either.

So if anyone here has an idea how to activate these things or how to actually get someone in Teltonika on phone, that would be very appreciated. All documentation I have found is just marketing material but no details of how to commission these part from “activated on first use” which clearly is not the case as I have few devices here on the desk all having “Deactivated” GPRS status and that one pending on truphone’s portal. At the moment looks very strongly like our demo event scheduled for tomorrow is going to be bust.

(edit) Got a response from 1GLOBAL, the support on these accounts is by Teltonika and they closed the ticket. So no help from there either.

Maybe try these APN settings. They work for me:

Thanks,

Got it solved by Teltonika today. What my sales manager forgot to tell me was that I can’t activate the SIMs, they need to do it.

Anyways, devices got online and some already on the way to pilot customers.
