I use an FMM130 device for applications in my company and would like to suggest a new feature.
I would like to propose the inclusion of a functionality that could be extremely beneficial for users like me. It would be amazing if the device could automatically generate an idle engine report when the following conditions are met simultaneously:
- Vehicle speed <= X
- Valid GPS (with Y or more visible satellites)
- Main battery voltage >= Z
I believe that this addition would provide greater efficiency in vehicle monitoring, especially in prolonged idle situations. This would allow for more effective resource management and a more detailed understanding of the vehicle’s behavior during periods of inactivity.
In addition to the previous suggestion, it would be extremely helpful if the equipment could automatically send two distinct types of reports related to the idle engine function. The first would be a report indicating when the vehicle “entered idle mode,” notifying when the established conditions were met. The second type of report would be sent when the vehicle “exited idle mode,” indicating the moment when the conditions were no longer met.
Furthermore, another common possibility, especially for vehicles such as cranes and some machines, is the condition of standing work. Therefore, an alternative that can be used for these cases is to provide an input to be used as a criterion for the report. For example, considering that if the input is activated, the “Idle Engine” condition should not be generated. In other words, the report can only be generated if the input is deactivated, and it should return from the condition if the input is activated.
