Hello
I’m experiencing an issue with the FMC150 OEM (Peugeot e-208 P21 2019-2023) integration regarding the battery State of Charge (SOC) when the vehicle is being charged.
The problem is as follows:
When the car has, for example, 50% battery charge, and we connect a charger to the vehicle, the FMC150 OEM immediately receives a packet showing 50%, but then it quickly drops to 1%, then 2%, then 10%, and only then it increases up to 100% gradually. In other words, the SOC jumps back to near zero at the start of charging before incrementing again. This behavior impacts the client’s system because it creates inconsistent and meaningless SOC data during charging.
In contrast, when connecting FMC130 + LVCAN200, this problem does not occur. After connecting a charger, the SOC values from the vehicle increase normally: 50% → 51% → 52% → … → 100% without any conflicts. Everything works fine in that setup.
Based on this comparison, I am confident that this is an OEM DLC issue/bug with the FMC150 OEM configuration for this specific vehicle. I have tested different OEM versions and even tried other vehicle brands, and this behaviour only appears with the e-208 using the FMC150 OEM firmware.
Could you please check the OEM profile/settings for this vehicle?
It seems like the SOC data logic or signals during charging may be incorrect or misconfigured for the FMC150 OEM.
Thanks
