Is it safe for the fuel pump device turn on and off continously?
Example case:
I limit the Overspeed in 50 Km/h, and the car like stable in speed near 48 - 52 Km/h. The relay for fuel pump will always going on and off continously.

One possible approach is to pulse the fuel cut output for only a few milliseconds instead of keeping it continuously OFF. In this way, the vehicle would not shut down completely, but the digital output trigger will be getting On and Off for certain period of time. This could alert the driver to reduce speed while avoiding a complete fuel cut-off.
Another option would be to introduce support for ETC (Electronic Throttle Control). That would be a much better solution, as it could gradually reduce engine power by limiting the accelerator/throttle input instead of directly cutting power to the fuel pump. This would provide a smoother and safer way to enforce speed reduction.
Here please note Detected speed has to be greater than (configured max speed +3% of configured max speed) for Over speed start event; detected speed has to be lower than(configured max speed -3% of configured max speed) for Over speed end event.

Hello! I’m actually looking into using the Teltonika speed limiter solution with an ETC as well, just like you mentioned.
The only thing I’m still not sure about is what kind of ETC module should be used. Most of the electronic throttle controllers I find online are performance-oriented, with different driving modes (Sport, Eco, etc.) for DIY installations.
Does anyone know if there’s a specific type or model that’s compatible with this kind of speed-limiting setup? Or what specifications we should be looking for?
