Hello Teltonika Team,

I have been using Teltonika devices (primarily the FMB130) for over five years, managing a fleet of 4,000 units.

I am frequently encountering false speeding alerts. Based on my own research, I believe these spikes occur when the device computes speed from location data. I also noticed that the speed source options are currently limited to GNSS or CAN.

My feature request: Could you develop a firmware update that allows the device’s accelerometer to be used as a speed source?.. currently accelerometer can only be used as Movement source ..

Regarding your suggestion to use the accelerometer as a speed source: for any new feature requests or firmware change proposals, please contact your Teltonika sales manager, who can raise a HelpDesk query on your behalf so that our engineers can properly evaluate it.
