The problem seems to be with negative energy flow (from solar panels). The installed smart meter is CHINT DDSU666 from the Teltonika supported meter list, which shows a negative energy flow (with a minus) during solar generation. However, the TELTOCHARGE EVC101 interprets the negative energy flow as positive (seems to lose the minus). This is visible in the TeltonikaEnergy app > settings > diagnostics > import/export from/to grid. In this case, the more energy that comes from the solar panels, the lower the maximum current allowed, i.e. reducing the possibility of using Dynamic Load Balancing.
P.S. Everything works fine with positive energy flow (from the grid).
Any ideas on how to solve the problem?
Update:
During the EV charging, I get an error “kWh meter faulty wiring”. However, according to the wiki, all the necessary wires (A, B, com) are connected at both sides according the wiki and meter + load balancing from the grid work fine. Charging is in ECO mode and doesn’t measure consumption and power.

This essentially means the meter is unsupported. I believe you have checked our wiki page. Which smart meter are you using?
If you are using the same smart meter for solar and kWh, that could be the issue. You cannot use the same smart meter for both the inverter and the charger due to a Modbus conflict.
Could you give me more information about the installation?
Best regards,
Furkan
I have checked the wiki and chose DDSU666 from Teltonika’s supported meters list. The specific link with the description of where I bought it is here.
For the solar power plant, I am using another 1-phase smart meter from Acrel.
Hello Darpu,
DTSU666-H, which is a smart meter for huawei inverters and we didn’t implement any support for -H one.
Hello Darpu,
Our rnd team will implement DTSU666-H, I will inform you when its done
That would be great. Thank you very much!
