Recording acceleration data with EYE Sensor

Hello Teltonika community,

I bought some Teltonika EYE Sensors in order to record acceleration data during container shipping. I was planning to use the EYE APP to start recording before shipping, and then have someone read the data after the container has reached its target location.
According to the manual, there should be an option to record temperature data, but it does not show the option for me. Nothing is said about storing acceleration data.
Is this even possible?

Help would be much appreciated, regards, Sebastian

hello @SebastianWinkler
Good day!

the EYE sensor EN (white colour) could save the logged the TEMP only, not the acceleration,
also, in the EYE sensor, you can see if the EYE sensor is moving or not, but you can’t see the acceleration value or axis,

Hello Laith,
thank you for replying! I have the black color EYE Sensor btw.
I talked to customer support today as well, and they told me you could read yaw/pitch angles, but were not sure about acceleration. If there is no acceleration data which could be read, the sensor is useless to me unfortunately.

regards, Sebastian

Here’s what the FAQ (EYE FAQ - Teltonika Telematics Wiki) says about this:

What data can be read from the accelerometer?

Only angle at the moment, with special development it is possible to receive accelerometer data. […]

So it’s not possible by default
