ID LV-CAN200 problem.
Hello Community, I noticed a possible conflict.
On the Teltonika-wiki Data_Sending_Parameters_ID page (https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB120_Teltonika_Data_Sending_Parameters_ID) for the FMB120 or other FMBXX devices,
in the “CAN adapter elements” section, you can see:
ID 232 corresponds to CNG status
ID 233 corresponds to CNG used
ID 234 corresponds to CNG level
ID 235 corresponds to Engine Oil Level
While if the same model and version of LV-CAN200 is connected to the FMA120 with the latest firmware version (FMA1YX.01.27.32.Rev.4), it has different IDs, specifically:
ID 190 corresponds to CNG status
ID 191 corresponds to CNG used
ID 192 corresponds to CNG level
ID 193 corresponds to Engine Oil Level.
How is this possible? How can I fix it?
Hello,
Thank you for your message,
The same LV‑CAN200 parameters are mapped to different AVL IDs because FMA and FMB devices use different AVL IDs. While the CAN Adapter is identical, each device family has dedicated Data Sending Parameter IDs. Therefore, you must decode data using the specific ID list for each device model (e.g., FMA120 vs. FMB120) rather than expecting the IDs to match.
In short, Teltonika uses distinct AVL IDs for different device families (FMA1, FMB1x, FMB6xx, etc.), so this is not an issue and it’s totally expected.
Best regards.
Where can I find the FMA AVL IDs?
On the website, only the FMB ones are available.
Hello,
Please contact your Teltonika Sales Manager regarding this inquiry. We can then provide you with the full list of AVL IDs for our legacy FMA devices.
Best regards.
