Hello Teltonika Team and Community,
I would like to request assistance regarding fuel sensor integration with Teltonika FMC650.
Device & Sensor Details
- Tracker: Teltonika FMC650
- Fuel Sensor: Omnicomm LLS4
- Additional Sensor: Ligo BLE Fuel Sensor
- Connection: RS485 (directly connected via RJ45 port)
- Power Supply: External 12V (stable)
Connection Description
- Omnicomm LLS4 is connected directly to the FMC650 RJ45 RS485 interface
- RS485 A and B lines are connected correctly (polarity tested)
- Sensor is powered and calibrated
- No external converter is used
Configuration & Tests Performed
-
RS485 interface enabled on FMC650.
-
RS485 communication mode selected.
-
Tried different baudrate settings.
-
Tried different sensor IDs.
-
Firmware updated to the latest version.
-
Device works normally (GPS, IO, data transmission OK).
Issue Description
- Fuel level data from Omnicomm LLS4 is not received
- No fuel sensor values appear in records
- RS485 data seems not to be detected at all
- Multiple attempts were made, but the sensor remains unread
Questions

Is direct RS485 connection via RJ45 between FMC650 and Omnicomm LLS4 supported?
-
Does FMC650 support native Omnicomm RS485 protocol?
-
Is any additional hardware or converter required to read Omnicomm LLS4?
-
Are there any specific RS485 settings required for this sensor?
-
Is Ligo BLE fuel sensor supported by FMC650?
