Im failing to understand how to send SMS commands to tat140 , example text number to then receive GPS , but how do I do it if I’m not provided a phone number what am I missing

For you to send SMS commands to TAT140, you need to check on the SIM Card number that is installed on the device. Once you have the details about the SIM Number then you can send SMS commands to the device.

Yes I know but I’m having difficulty with the commands I feel like I’m not inputting them right as the device is receiving them
Just location is all I want

You may follow the SMS command mentioned below asking the device to send the immediate record if the GSM Module of the device is ON.
If no Authentication is set:
(space)(space)getrecord
However, kindly keep in mind that the TAT140 would not respond if it is on Sleep Mode. Thus, you would only receive a response from the device when it is not under Sleep Mode condition which normally occurs when it is time for the device to send records.
